Plan Details

Overview:

  • - Lowest monthly premiums assured
  • - 100% refund, if the visa is not granted before effective date
  • - Partial refund, if the parents move out of Canada before one year (pro rata basis calculation of refund)

Eligibility:

  • - Be a visitor to Canada under a valid visa
  • - Age must range between 15 days to 90 years
  • - Should not have been diagnosed with any terminal illness

How to Make Claim:

  • - Duly filled claim form
  • - All original bills of treatment
  • - Prescribed drugs receipt
  • - A copy of air fare ticket and passport to confirm the dates of entry into Canada
  • - Written proof to be submitted before 90 days from the date of receipt of the full documented policy

Refund Policy:

    When the policy holder goes for refund of the premium, a fee gets deducted from the eligible refund. The deduction is applicable as follows-

  • - No fee is deducted if the visa is denied before the effective date
  • - $250 gets deducted if visa is cancelled just before the departure
  • - $50 gets deducted if visa is cancelled just before the arrival to the country of origin
  • - $250 gets deducted if visa is cancelled just before its expiry and the policy holder is in Canada only
  • - Written proof to be submitted before 90 days from the date of receipt of the full documented policy
  • * Refund requests must be received by the insurance company before 60 days from the date the policy holder becomes eligible from the plan. Premium refund request is accepted only if no claim has been paid. If the amount of premium to be reimbursed is less than $20, no refund will be entertained.
